Haah. It was a crazy night.
Taking some time to blog now because I am simply toooo full to do anything else.
Meeting with Charleston was amazing and hilarious. We had this chart to see where our CG stood in terms of tithing, weekly attendance etc etc.
Yes yes, our report card.
Both Evonne and I...We're working towards the green man, yo. (: (: GREEN!!! Not red, not orange, not white, not gray, not black, not blue, not yellow, but GREEN!
And Charleston shared so many inspiring stories and other stuff that it got all of us excited for the month of June (:
Wanna hear those stories?? Come join us at the D-Zone Hang-out in the second week of June!
Then, Dom, Fifi, Amelia, Jieru, Evonne and myself headed for supper.
Being D-Zone, we opted for food that started with 'D' - Dim Sum and Durian. Haha!
Fellowship was awesome...Fifi and her very very very friendly taxi driver who talks about anything and everything under the sun...the "Your mama was so fat" jokes...ahahaha! And now all our fingers smells of durian :/
Just loving all my brothers and sisters in Christ man~ They rock to the maxxx! Woo!
Oh! A side topic - Juno is a definitely much watch! Having heard my faculty mates and my ex-tutor rave so much about Juno and how good it was, I caught the movie (online) yesterday and I must give it a two thumbs up! Ellen Page is a fantastic actress for someone her age and she made Juno, well, Juno. (:
Matthaeus disagreed and said that the movie was boring but hey, personally, I think you have to love Literature to appreciate the whole movie. If we actually do this film for one of the modules next semester, I can definitely produce an essay topic on the movie - pro-choice, pro-life, pro-adulthood, feminism...
Having said that, I now proudly proclaim that I am officially a Lit. student. I can no longer sit through a movie like Juno without thinking about the themes and motifs within the film XD
This is so awesome.
I can't wait for June.
I can't wait for Euro Cup. (I am supporting Spain by the way. Go Torres!!! Go Reina! Go Alonso! Go Arbeloa!)
Haah. I am so biased towards Torres :P
Zone D Hang-out, BMT, Schools Seminar, Pastor Tan...everything and anything, right here at home (:
