Haha I decided to blog even though I'm on my verge of KO-ing.
Diarrhoea is no child's play, especially when you rush off to the washroom 4-5 times a day. :/ But TGIS (Thank God It's Saturday/Sunday!). He healssss (:
It's so funny how people change so much when they go to the army.
You can blame the peer pressure, you can blame the circumstance, but I always believe that it's the person who makes the final decision.
You decide how you want your life to turn out.
Where do you stand? What is your conviction at the end of the day?
Life changes at every stage. Circumstances and pressure changes into a different form at every level.
No one and nothing can force you to do the things that you don't want to do, or give up.
If I ask you to give up your Ferrari today, and you refuse to, that's your decision.
It's like forcing a cat to climb down a tree, or a cow to walk down the staircase.
They just make a decision and refuse to.
I call reasons related to circumstances and life - "excuses".
Circumstances and life will never go away. In fact, they keep on coming, wave after wave. It's how you deal and respond to it.
Coming to church weekly is my decision. It's my conviction.
Through circumstances and life, I still appear every weekend. All those obstacles are no more than decorations which makes my life more interesting and challenging.
Well you know, a warrior is always in need and in search of a good challenge. You'll never know your true strength and character till when you are faced with a challenge.
Yeah I may not go through army. I may not go through the physical training.
But neither are you living my life (:
If army can stop you from coming to God now, I shudder to think how you will crumble and fall when you go to work and later, start your own family.
Pastors are right. The true on-fire Christians are not when we are 13-19 years old. During that age, we have all the time in the world. On-fireness is a norm.
The real test comes when you turn into a young adult and ultimately an adult.
People will justify their busy-ness with excuses...I mean, reasons of all sorts...fall away from God, make further stupid decisions, lose their destiny, and maybe/probably/most definitely blame God for all their own decisions.
But at the end of the day, you'll remember that God didn't force you against your choices. You made your own call.
Laments...laments... (:
On to powerful stuff!
Just had CG with the brothers, and it was super duper powerful to the max!
Haha! For the first time, I finally know how to be natural in leading worship! Lol! It was really a great experience! TGFD (Thank God For Dexter)! He's an awesome guitarist and brother (: I'm super glad he's in D7! Hahaha (:
Presence of God was there throughout; there was faith, there was power, there was conviction, there was hunger...it was sweeet to the bones, soul, spirit, mind. Hahaha...
I just love the presence of God, don't you?
I remember there was this instance in my room. I was doing about my stuff, and I just had this thought, "I don't want any money or any wealth in this world. I just want Your presence."
It was a strong cry of my heart.
His presence is priceless. Money can be earned, wealth can be blessed from Heaven. But lose the presence of God, and you lose your direction.
Nothing in this world can buy you Jesus.
Nothing in this world can buy you His presence.
Nothing in this world can buy you His blessings.
Nothing in this world can buy you His love.
I'm so in love with my God. (:
He really helped me in today's CG (: It was awesome today because He was there. He preached the Word, He led the worship, He opened the hearts.
Then we fellowshipped under the presence of God. It was divine. Haha (:
Heaven in Pre-School.
Dexter was cleaning his guitar and making weird noises and faces...Dale was doing a lot of stuff on his Mac while talking to everybody...Cheryl and Jerome were talking and realising how many friends they have in common...Samuel was writing out all the names with his awesome handwriting...and I was there just taking in the scene and loving my brothers and sister.
I pity all those who missed it.
This was an ignited moment. At least for me.
Haha I'm loving my leadership with Jesus.
It's a whole new different level. With Jesus, you are always being made into somebody bigger than yourself.
No longer I but Christ living in me.
Last note!
Pastors and some of the leaders are leaving for London tomorrow. Would love to have flown off with them but there's always another opportunity.
I'm gonna miss them like mad <3
BUT! They are off to spark a great movement from God, so we should rejoice! Haha!
And it's gonna be another 1 week before we see them...we can survive 1 week.
I think (:
Alrighty! Off to KO officially! Buenos noches!
